Meet Mino!

Meet Mino Caulton

Mino Caulton is a trainer who worked with AYSA last year and understands our mission, as well as knows our coaches and players.
This year, Mino is joining the AYSA team and providing us with tools to help improve our program.  He will be mentoring coaches and training in the Summer and Fall.

Mino's Mission:
Children deserve to feel pride and accomplishment, and soccer is a great place to help them achieve that. I try to facilitate the joy of learning something new - of being able to do something you could not do before. My goal is to keep young players motivated in soccer, enjoying themselves, working hard, and learning. I have high expectations for player behavior and development, and am delighted to see their growth day-to-day, and over a season.

Bio:

In 2012 I obtained the USC Advanced National Diploma, in 2014 the USSF B License, and in 2020 a BSc titled Coaching for Performance in Football from Anglia Ruskin University. Along the way I attended coach education events featuring Real Madrid and Manchester United, and have learned from and worked alongside high level coach educators and sport academics. With that said, the past 11 years of on-field work has been the best training. Each day with the kids teaches me something new about skill acquisition, successful communication, patience, and everything else you need as a coach! I am delighted to continue working with Aston Youth Soccer Association, and am looking forward to a terrific season, and beyond!
